Bob Lawblah *claps*

In chemistry we are writing a end of the quarter paper on water and what would happen if it didn’t hydrogen bond? (H-bond)
So I am going to use this space for things that it wouldn’t be necessary to add in the paper. To start I’ll copy/paste some key points in the story. But first for a little background, this is all a lead scientist telling you about this new planet discovered where the water doesn’t H-bond.
Ladies and gentleman I give you… Bob Lawblah… *claps*
“Along with the very high freezing point of this new H2O, it also seems to be very difficult to raise it to a boiling temperature. So the care package we sent on the ship with noodles is basically useless. Included in this care package was also an ice cube tray, drinking glasses, Japanese fighting fish (dead at this point), and a map of our earth (not as useful as you would think).
The drinking glasses and ice cube tray proved to be a big success. The inhabitants filled the glasses with water and the ice cubes when another observation was made. The ice cubes sank to the bottom of each glass, rather than float on top of the water. The molecules not being able to H-bond also caused this to happen. “
*claps*
That was beautifully put if I do say so myself. Another thing that I wanted to add in to the report was that the ocean would freeze on the bottom because of the changed polarity which means if it was cold enough, land masses could form from the ice building up from the bottom of the ocean.
